Kody at the Seattle Temple

Kody at the Seattle Temple

This week was really good. We started helping out an investigator with her home. Her name is K and she’s a wonderful older woman who has too much property and not enough time and energy to deal with it. I was prompted to help her out, even though she wasn’t interested in our message when we met her. We came back and started to help her out. She didn’t even think we would actually come back to help her. We ended up going back a couple more times and eventually set up an Elders Quorum service project. We had 6 Elders come over to help us on Saturday, which was way cool. I also ended up being in charge of managing everyone helping out by showing and assigning people to certain tasks. It was way stressful for me but I ended up doing a lot better than I thought I did, especially because my companion let me organize the project.
We also went to the Seattle Temple this week. We had to get up at about 4:00 in the morning and then drive about an hour to the local stake center in Silverdale. We then waited about 45 minutes and then got on a bus and rode for another 2 to 3 hours to Seattle. We had a 30 minute devotional and then went to our temple session. At about 2:00 we had lunch and then got on another bus and rode back about 3 and a half hours to the Silverdale Stake Center because the bus driver took the long way around. After that we drove home. We arrived home at about 9:00 at night.
We also got a GOLDEN investigator this week. His name is C and he’s like perfect. He’s super in touch with what he feels and he’s tried as hard as he can to bring his life into line with the Savior’s. He says his “journey” has led him to us, so that he can continue to learn the truth about Jesus. He has told us that he feels everything that he has read in the Book of Mormon is true and that it makes sense to him. We also put him on date for baptism two weeks from this Saturday.

Anyway I hope your week is just as good as mine was!
