This week has been a really interesting one. We’ve had to deal with a lot of anti-Mormon situations this week which would usually just be annoying. But it hit home this week when we were asked by the ward’s bishop to go see a member that had quit attending about a month ago. We went over to her house and she (the mom) told us very sternly and promptly that we had nothing to talk about and shut the door. Later in the week we went tracting in the same area where she lived and we knocked on her door again. We forgot where she lived. This time she came out in full force. It’s really sad to see a relatively strong member that was raised in the religion turn away from the church.
On the other side of the spectrum we had a really spiritual experience with one of our investigators. She was having a panic attack when we arrived and we were able to give her a priesthood blessing. It was really good. It’s really hard to get a hold of her but we are confident now that we will and it’s not a matter of if but when.
Sorry for not having a scripture message this week. I’m running a little tight on time today, but here’s a photo for you guys!
