We had a major rainstorm come through this week which caused a lot of flooding here. Fortunately we and our apartment were unaffected but a few of the members in the ward had flooded basements.
This weekend we were able to go to Elma for a fireside that was being held there. It was really cool because I got to see a lot of old friends from when I served in the Shelton 2nd ward. Also being able to see two of my old companions again Eric and Hunter, was really touching for me. Heavenly father has been so gracious to me. He has been blessing me so much I don’t know what to do with myself.
This week we also had interviews with President Blatter which was interesting because I received my final interview. He gave me a lot of advice on finding a job, staying active in the church and dating.
We were able to put C on date for baptism on Dec 5th. We are hoping that she will continue to move towards that goal. We also finished teaching her all the lessons. If we are able to baptize her before I leave it will have been the first convert baptism that the Rochester ward has had in over a year. I’m really excited for that.
I hope you all have a great week!
